No wonder it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Then we continue to cedars forest, where the Barbary macaques lives. Feel free to feed them while wandering in the forest. Later, we continue to Midelt, where we will have a free time for lunch. Then we drive through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass, and along the Ziz valley, with stops for panoramic views.

In the afternoon we reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Where you switch to camels to cross the sandy desert, then a stop will be made to enjoy the sunset. After that you continue to the camp which is a combination between the traditional tents of nomads and the luxury a hotel has. Where you can enjoy the Berber drums music while dancing around the campfire, under vast open sky of stars.


6th day : Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – palm grove

After breakfast, we dedicate the day to explore the region of Merzouga. The area has so many incredible sites, from sand dunes, wild lake, mines, fossils areas, to fabulous oases. Which are ideal places for so many outdoor activities. We start our journey in Merzouga, by driving off-road to visit an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we pay the nomads a visit in their handmade woven tent. And learn how they live while drinking a Berber tea.

Our next destination is the Khamlia village, where you can enjoy the Gnaoua music and dancing performances. Its inhabitants are originating from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan and Niger. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. After that we take a stroll in palm trees grove. Then drive a few kilometres to see the wild lake of Merzouga, also called the lake of flamingos. 7th day : Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake up early in the morning is a must do, in order to contemplate the beautiful sunrise. Free time for breakfast. Then we leave the desert to visit Rissani town, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani still a major trading center in the region. With a large souk lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. After a stroll in Rissani souk. Thereafter, we continue to Erfoud, where we visit one of the workshops of fossilized marble.

Then we drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todra Gorges. The course of Todra river has carved out a grand canyon through the mountains. This high red cliff-sided canyon is an ideal place for rock climbers. Feel free to wander in the gorges and appreciate the beauty of the landscape. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. Then we continue to the Dades valley through Boumalne Dades. Finally, inevitable stops at the “monkey fingers” rock formation. And for the panoramic view of the Dades valley. 8th day : Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we continue our trip to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose valley. A Rose Festival is held annually in May. Where the locals offer their rose products, from perfumes, rose water, oil, to cosmetic products. We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura and visit the Kasbah of Amredhyle. Then we reach Ouarzazate, where we visit the studios in which famous movies were shot. And also visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.


9th day : Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Telouet – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, we depart to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including : Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy…etc. And TV series including Game Of Thrones. After that we visit the Telouet Kasbah. Then we continue to Marrakesh by going through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Stops will be made for lunch, and to take pictures at interesting spots. Finally, we reach Marrakech. Overnight stay in a Riad.


10th day : Guided tour sightseeing Marrakech

After a warm breakfast, we will be exploring the Highlights of Marrakech with a local guide. The city is considered one of the imperial cities in Morocco. The visit includes : the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Quranic mosque. And stroll in the largest traditional souk in Morocco. Free time for lunch near the Jemaa El-Fna square. 11th day : Marrakech – Essaouira

12th day : Essaouira – Casablanca

Day 3TINGHIR (3 hours walk)

Our morning drive takes us from Swiss lakes to Swiss Army. At the once-secret Swiss army bunker at Fortress Fürigen, we’ll see part of the massive defense system designed to keep Switzerland strong and neutral. Afterward, a short drive into the countryside brings us to the charming Alpine village of Engelberg, our picturesque home for the next two days. We’ll settle into our lodge then head out for an orientation walk. Our stroll through the village will end at the Engelberg Abbey, a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese-making operation. You’ll have free time to wander back before dinner together. Sleep in Engelberg (2 nights). Bus: 1 hr. Walking: light.

Day 4GORGES DU DADES (53 km – 4 hours walk)

After breakfast, visit to the Dades Gorges. Lunch, then trek of about 4 hrs in the valley of the Targht. Return to hostel Aït Oudinar, dinner and night.

Plan de viaje

Día 1 :
Casablanca a Chefchaouen
Salga de Casablanca y visite la icónica Mezquita Hassan II, una de las mezquitas más grandes del mundo, conocida por su impresionante arquitectura y ubicación junto al Océano Atlántico. Pase algún tiempo explorando esta obra maestra arquitectónica antes de continuar su viaje a Rabat, la capital de Marruecos. En Rabat, visite los lugares históricos como la Torre Hassan y pasee por las encantadoras calles de la Kasbah Oudaya. Después de explorar Rabat, diríjase hacia Chefchaouen, un viaje de aproximadamente 4-5 horas. Llegue a Chefchaouen por la noche y acomódese en su alojamiento.

Día 2 :
Chefchaouen To Fes
Después del desayuno, después del desayuno, pase la mañana explorando las cautivadoras calles azules de la Ciudad Azul, capturando fotos memorables y empapándose de su ambiente único. Visite la fortaleza, la plaza Uta Hammam y la animada medina antes de comenzar su viaje a Fez.
El viaje panorámico a Fez tomará aproximadamente 5 horas, incluyendo paradas para hacer turismo y descansos. Día 3 :

Después del desayuno, su guía lo encontrará en su riad y comenzará su recorrido por la Ciudad Imperial más antigua de Marruecos. En Fez te espera una encantadora mezcla de historia, cultura y arquitectura. Comience su exploración en la antigua medina, un sitio declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO donde callejuelas estrechas conducen a zocos bulliciosos, mezquitas ornamentadas y patios ocultos.
Visite la Mezquita y la Universidad Al-Qarawiyyin, un símbolo de la erudición islámica que se remonta al siglo IX, que ofrece una visión del rico patrimonio artístico de la ciudad.
Para una experiencia sensorial, visite la curtiembre de Chouara, donde los tonos vibrantes de tinte de cuero crean un panorama sorprendente contra el horizonte de la ciudad. Día 4 :
Fez – Ifran – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Erfoud – Merzouga
Después del desayuno, partimos de Fez hacia el desierto del Sahara Merzouga, pasando por los pintorescos bosques de cedros de las montañas del Atlas Medio, con paradas en Ifran y Azrou. En Midelt, haremos una pausa para almorzar antes de continuar nuestro viaje.
Mientras atravesamos el paisaje, cruzaremos el río Ziz y pasaremos por innumerables palmeras y kasbahs fortificadas hacia Erfoud, llegando finalmente a Merzouga y Erg Chebbi. Aquí, pasará la noche en un hotel ubicado junto a las dunas, ofreciendo una experiencia única y serena en el desierto.

Día 5 :
Merzouga – Tinjdad – Oasis de Tinghir – Garganta de Todgha – Garganta de Dades
Antes del amanecer, nuestro guía de camellos le despertará para un comienzo temprano, llevándonos de vuelta cuando el sol emerge en el horizonte. Haremos una pausa a lo largo de la ruta para saborear el amanecer. Al llegar al hotel, nuestro viaje procede a visitar la fábrica de mármol fosilizado de Arfoud antes de dirigirse a Touroug para explorar los antiguos sistemas de riego subterráneo.
La aventura avanza hasta las gargantas del Todra, famosas por sus imponentes paredes verticales, un refugio para escaladores. Después de una breve caminata para admirar el impresionante desfiladero, nos aventuramos al valle del Dades a través de Boumalne, haciendo paradas para tomar pintorescas instantáneas en el camino.

Día 6 :
Garganta del Dades – Valle de las Rosas – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Despídase de las gargantas del Dades después del desayuno, y continuaremos nuestro viaje a través del Valle de las Rosas hasta Kalaa Mgouna, donde tendrá la oportunidad de visitar una de las cooperativas Rose y aprender sobre cómo los lugareños preparan rosasperfumes perfumados a base de agua de rosas destilada.
Continuaremos hacia Ouarzazate a través del oasis de Skoura, que es famoso por sus palmerales. Luego nos detendremos para almorzar en Ait Ben Haddou, antes de visitar la kasbah que es patrimonio de la humanidad de la UNESCO – esto se utiliza como un lugar para muchas películas de Hollywood y para la moda y el rodaje comercial. Por la tarde, nuestro viaje por carretera continuará a través de las montañas del Alto Atlas, cruzando el paso Tizi n Tichka, pasando por muchos pueblos bereberes con casas hechas de piedra y barro. Usted notará inmediatamente que la forma de vida de los lugareños aquí no ha cambiado durante siglos! Llegaremos a Marrakech en la tarde.
